A traveling tip for adventuring with (young) children.
This will be short and sweet.
When I was young and we went on trips as a family, my mom dressed us all in the same clothes (at least the same shirt) so that it was much easier to keep track of us. What a great idea! Additionally, if one of us got lost, she always knew exactly what we were wearing. Plus, pictures were pretty well coordinated as a result!
Can you guess which one I am? It's not that hard to guess... I am the oldest in my family.
P.S. Never mind the disastrous fashion statements of my "lace keepers" on my shoes in the first picture and my jeans in the last picture. I like to tell myself that it was "in" back then.

Our moms must think alike (or they got the idea from eachother) because we have those exact same pictures! I have seen though huge groups in the same shirts and if you see a little kid roaming around; its very easy to find their parents!
This is a great idea! Thanks for posting it.
Can I just say, I love this post!! :-)
When I do park visits with the boys, I always try to put them in bright shirts. Coordinating ones would be even better.
The reason I love this post is because whenever I hear mention of your family name or parent or sibling the EXACT way I picture you/them in my head is the red striped picture. Good memories!
My favorite fashion faux pas was Debby's black socks with the red and white outfit.
Those are great pictures! Love the shoelace holders/keepers. I have to say- I missed that fashion trend. What did they do exactly?
Ooh, I remember being so jealous of all of your matching Landsend striped outfits - I so wished my family did that.
